Structure & Construction
The structural framework is of welded construction and comprises the bottom frame, overall framework, internal and external cladding, insulation and associated peripherals, together with a sloping self-draining roof.
A closer look at the construction systems, materials and finishing standards used in our portable cabin manufacturing.
From the welded structural framework to the finished interiors, each component is selected and assembled to create a practical, durable and comfortable portable space.
The structural framework is of welded construction and comprises the bottom frame, overall framework, internal and external cladding, insulation and associated peripherals, together with a sloping self-draining roof.
The base frame uses pressed mild-steel channels. The main structural I-beam is 125 mm × 75 mm, while the cross members use 100 mm × 50 mm C-channel sections.
The flooring system combines a durable marine-plywood base with PVC vinyl flooring. The roof is designed with a cambered profile for effective rainwater drainage and incorporates insulated interior paneling.
Careful attention is given to wall and frame insulation. The interior combines insulation with a clean, finished paneling system and neatly detailed corners.
The cabins are provided with concealed electrical wiring suitable for a 250-volt, 50 Hz single-phase AC power supply, with PVC conduits and MCB protection.
The main door is designed as a double-skin steel door with insulation, sealing and a secure locking arrangement. Its interior finish is coordinated with the cabin interior.
The exterior uses pressed steel vertical corrugated sheets welded to the structural frame. Joints and gaps are sealed at the sill, edges and seams.
